Nusret Özevin started 7th Hill in the spring of 2018. He was closely involved with İstanbul Cymbals from the very beginning in 1984, and he
has been in and around the fascinating world of cymbals ever since.

Most cymbals are born in a machine; ours are born in fire and shaped by hand. At 7th Hill, we don't follow the mass-production standards of the industry. We return to the roots of Samatya's heritage, using the finest B20 alloy and the seasoned ears of Master Nusret Özevin. Every bell, every lathing mark, and every hammer blow is a deliberate choice to achieve the perfect harmonic balance.
